CalWORKS at Fullerton College - Program Eligibility

Program Eligibility

The Fullerton College CalWORKs Program staff provides services for students who attend Fullerton College and the School of Continuing Education sites located at Yorba Linda, Anaheim and Wilshire. The following are our Program requirements:

Must be receiving cash aid / CalWORKs / TANF (formerly known as welfare / AFDC).

No unit minimum; student can take credit or non-credit classes.

Two-parent or single parent households.

CalWORKs students must fulfill weekly participation requirements in order to remain in compliance with county welfare-to-work requirements (exceptions may apply if student is exempt)

In addition, students not currently receiving AFDC / welfare but who are considering applying, should schedule an appointment with a CalWORKs Counselor prior to applying in order to secure an overview of the CalWORKs Program requirements.
